A Lifelong Promise: Why I Chose Grooming
I’ve always had a love for dogs, but looking back, it was more than just a hobby—it was my first mission. Even as a kid, I was the one always wanting to give the neighborhood dogs a bath. While other kids were playing, I was focused on making sure every pup I met looked and felt their best. I knew then what Proverbs 12:10 tells us: "A righteous man cares for the needs of his animals."
Growing up, my Mom and Dad always told me: "Always finish what you start." Those words became the heartbeat of my work ethic. I knew that my natural love for animals was meant to be something more, and I wanted to honor them by seeing that passion through to the very end. By choosing to further my education in animal science and professionally training to be a groomer, I am finally finishing what I started as that small child with a soap-sudsy dog in the yard. I am so proud to announce that I officially graduated from Paragon Academy this past October, living out the legacy of dedication my parents instilled in me.
I believe that because Dog is God spelled backward, I am serving the Creator by how I treat the creature. At Pawsitively Posh, every groom is more than just a service; it is a ministry of stillness and a sacred trust. I am dedicated to providing a calm, one-on-one environment where your beloved companion is treated with the highest level of respect and love. This mission is rooted in the belief that the righteous care for the needs of their animals, as seen in Proverbs 12:10, and that in His hand is the life of every creature and the breath of all mankind, according to Job 12:10. By recognizing that we are serving the Creator through the creature, Pawsitively Posh remains committed to providing dignity for every dog through a ministry of stillness that honors the beauty of all living things.
